Engineered for heat and privacy
Custom glass saunas and cold plunge pools, designed around Gulf heat
Hotels, padel clubs, clinics, developers and villa owners in Saudi Arabia, Qatar, Kuwait, Bahrain and Oman need the same three things: a cold side that stays cold in July, a cabin that reads as architecture, and a plan that respects who may see what. We design it, build it in our own joinery and on our own chiller line, and install it.

Two ways in
Hotels, clubs and clinics start here; villa owners start there
Two audiences, two kinds of engineering: a plant that survives 16 hours of duty on one side, a plan that protects privacy and a garden on the other.

Twelve systems, and the cold side leads
Cold plunge pools and hot and cold pairs open the catalogue because the cold side decides whether a Gulf suite works in July. Glass saunas, tubs and the chiller follow; hot tubs, a hammam and the portable ice bath close the list.

Five things Gulf heat does to a sauna and a plunge pool
Most sauna and cold plunge catalogues are written for a temperate climate. These are the places where a Gulf site breaks the datasheet.
- The chiller loses capacity. A machine rated at a mild ambient delivers less as the air around its condenser gets hotter, so the plant is sized for the hottest afternoon, shaded and given a clear air path. Chiller sizing at 45 °C.
- The sun is a heat source. A square metre of water or glass in full sun takes in a large share of a kilowatt. Shade and lids come before bigger machines. Outdoor sauna and tub at 45 °C.
- Glass leaks heat. A 100 °C cabin in an air-conditioned room needs a bigger heater and a cooling plan that counts the glass. Glass-front saunas in desert heat.
- The supply is not the one on the datasheet. Saudi Arabia runs at 60 Hz, which changes pumps, fans and chillers. Heaters and chillers on 60 Hz.
- Privacy is a design input. Where the door is, what the glass shows and who shares a plant room decide whether a suite can be used. Gender-separated recovery zones.
Market context
Six figures from named sources, and what they do not prove
We do not promise a payback. These are published figures that describe the market a recovery suite is sold into; none of them measures what a sauna or a cold plunge earns.
- Saudi Arabia: weekly exercise. Saudi Vision 2030 sets a goal of 40% of the population exercising at least once a week by 2030, up from 13% in the baseline year (Saudi Vision 2030, 2016). GASTAT's 2021 household survey found 48.2% active for at least 30 minutes a week, up from 45% in 2019 (GASTAT, 2022). These are different measures and are quoted separately.
- Saudi Arabia: visitors. A target of 150 million tourism visits a year by 2030, domestic and international (Saudi Press Agency, statement by the Minister of Tourism, February 2024).
- Qatar: visitors. A goal of 6 million visitors a year by 2030 under the National Tourism Sector Strategy 2030 (Government of Qatar, International Media Office).
- Wellness economy. The Global Wellness Institute puts the Middle East and North Africa wellness economy at $190.1 billion in 2024, up 8.5% on 2023, and Saudi Arabia's at $41.56 billion in 2024, growing 12.2% a year between 2019 and 2024 (GWI, Global Wellness Economy Monitor 2025 and Country Rankings, January 2026).
- Spas in the region. Spa spending in the Middle East and North Africa reached $7.94 billion in 2024, up 19.7% on the year, across 10,406 spas (GWI, Global Wellness Economy Monitor 2025).
- Padel. Playtomic and Strategy& count 58,334 padel courts worldwide at the end of 2025, and more than 1,000 courts in Saudi Arabia and more than 150 in Qatar (Global Padel Report 2026). The International Padel Federation estimates about 580 courts in Kuwait (FIP, 2025).
As context for a decision, always with the source and the year in the sentence. For your own case, the useful number is the one you can count: members leaving the courts at once, guests on the deck at five o'clock, residents in the peak hour. Send it and the layout is sized to it.

Suite builder
Read the range before you write to us
Choose seats, a cold side and extras. The builder sizes the chiller by litres and shows an indicative range in US dollars with riyals beside it.
A 4-seat glass cabin plus a round cold plunge pool, for example, lands at about $28.2–44.5k (SAR 106–167k) before civil works, connections, duties and delivery. Change the cabin size or swap the pool for a pair and the figure moves with it.

Eight answers before the first message
How much does a custom sauna cost in Riyadh?
A 2-seat glass cabin starts around $8.4–11.5k (SAR 32–43k), a 4-seat cabin around $11.5–16.5k (SAR 43–62k) and an 8-seat club cabin around $21.5–31k (SAR 81–116k), before civil works, power, permits, duties and delivery. See the price guide and what a custom sauna costs in the Gulf.
Can a cold plunge hold 4 °C when it is 45 °C outside?
That is the set point we design for, 3–5 °C within ±0.3 °C, with shade or a lid and a plant sized for the hottest afternoon. A pool in direct sun with no cover needs a much bigger machine, and the layout says so. See chiller sizing at 45 °C.
Is the equipment built for Saudi 60 Hz power?
Pumps, fans and chillers are ordered as 60 Hz units for Saudi Arabia, and the supply is confirmed at survey. A resistive heater does not care about frequency. See heaters and chillers on 60 Hz.
Can men and women use the suite separately?
Yes. Two wings share a plant room, or one suite is scheduled by hours; glass can be clear, tinted or frosted wherever a sight line must close. See gender-separated recovery zones and ladies' wellness clubs.
How long does a project take?
A 3D layout and quote in up to 5 working days, production in 6 to 10 weeks, installation in up to 7 days; freight and clearance are planned separately. Read planning around Ramadan and the season.
Do you sell infrared saunas, steam rooms or hammams?
A heater-based dry sauna is our standard, with infrared panels as an option. We also build tiled hammam steam rooms with the generator in the plant space. Sauna, steam room or hammam explains how to choose.
Which currency are prices in?
US dollars, with the Saudi riyal beside them because the riyal is pegged. Quotes in Qatari riyal, Kuwaiti dinar, Bahraini dinar or Omani rial are issued on request.
What does the warranty cover?
Two years on everything we supply, plus a year of assisted service visits. The last 20% of the contract is paid only after a signed temperature test.
Do you build Moroccan bath and hammam rooms as well as Finnish saunas?
Yes — a traditional Moroccan bath or Turkish hammam is built as a tiled, steam-tight room with heated benches and its own steam generator. Many Gulf villas pair a hammam with a dry Finnish sauna so the family gets both rituals in one wellness suite.
Can a jacuzzi or hot tub be combined with the sauna and cold plunge?
It can, and it is the most requested trio in the GCC: jacuzzi for warm hydromassage, sauna for dry heat, cold plunge for the contrast. We plan the three around one plant room so pumps, chiller and heater share service access.
Where does the custom sauna manufacturing actually happen?
Cabins are manufactured as panels and benches in our joinery workshops, then shipped and assembled on site in Saudi Arabia, Qatar, Kuwait, Bahrain and Oman. On-site work takes days, not months, because the manufacturing is done before the crates arrive.
